Day Thirty Seven of Lockdown

When the window is open, you cannot help but feel the cold moisture in the air – there is the promise of rain. Today we have been informed that we will gather for PCR testing.

Morning… I eat my last portion of lasagne for breakfast; we are called, but must wait in line until the previous group of tenants clear the street; we are led, single file as a contiguous cohort, towards the testing area;

We were given a serial number when we were scanned, the nurses apply them to the testing vial; The rain falls progressively heavier, and one by one we are tested: My yoghurt is complete, thick like cottage or cream cheese… it’s thick and tangy 🤩
