Day Thirty Four of Lockdown
Still no news, still locked down. Today my focus was my website. For some days, My webserver capacity had been exceeded. After some scurrying around, and destroying some subdomains in the process, I found the cause was old website backups. Deleting those, I was finally able to move forward. I’ve uploaded, finally, the images for all my posts!
Today: Looking out the windows there is nothing much to see; earlier this morning I caught a reflection in the roof of a car; my website is up to date and all images are loaded;
But the pinch is starting to bite…
I’ve had to break into my strategic reserves of water; topping up the tea table barrel as well; home made lasagne with spinach pasta;
vibration plate exercise; preparing a yeast starter for making beer; solar reflections on the wall…
It’s been one day since the last PCR Test and we have no news of whether there are positive results in our compound. If there are, it seems we face 7 to 14 more days depending on the circumstances. We have been locked down longer than most. What cuts to the the quick, is the dearth of official information – not knowing, just lingering on, and on, and on… wears thin on the soul. Tomorrow is another day…
