Havin’ a bit of fun

I decided to play around with an old Australian Folk Song, “Flash Jack from Gundagai,” and wondered what if someone parodied it as a jingle for Bundaberg Rum? #Bundaberg#BundabergRum#BundyRum, #FlashJackTheBunndyGuy,

Thoughts of the Day…

“…anyone growing a business (even a freelance photographer), needs to build equity along with revenue. For photographers, the rights to their photographs are their main source of equity.”

Pricing is one of the greatest challenges a photographer faces when trying to operate a business. The above link gives some real world examples of quoting various jobs. Some of the principles are universal, however some of the pricing levels may not fly in your particular part of the world so, read with interest and think it through rather than say, this is how it should be done.

Diy Negative Scanning

I’ve been looking for a way to get my 4000+ negatives, from almost 10 years in China, digitised and sorted. I’ve tried my HP Scanner and even thought to spend a couple of hundred on a dedicated scanner, but have never quite got that far. This idea may actually be the ticket to me moving forward, at least I’ll be able to lightbox them and make selections. anything that appears to be outstanding I can then get professionally scanned. I’m excited again…
